What I am about to share with you is going to profoundly change your life. So relax, get comfortable, listen carefully and learn this life changing lesson I am about to bestow upon you.
Many people cannot kick certain habits and addictions because of word associations that they have accepted and embraced. Let's take a person who went to prison before. The system along with society call and refer to this individual an ex-con.
Notice how they have paid their debt to society however notice how the name still bares witness of the fact that they are sill looked upon as an ex-con.
Now what would happen if you totally eliminate the name ex-con completely from the person's vocabulary and viewpoint things begin to change at that very moment.
We must learn how to strip ourselves of negative connotations which bind us to certain behaviors.
When a school child has difficulty learning school people call him either dumb, stupid or illiterate to pigeonhole him in a bad place. Sooner or later the child embraces these names psychologically accepting it as truth and works continues to mudslide down the hill.
Stop because words can change your life for the good or bad. Many of us are master of saying bad things about ourselves and others.
We say some of the worst things to ourselves when we fail at something. How many times have you been in a situation where you get burned and you verbally tell yourself I always run into people who manage to screw my life up.
The more you tell yourself that the more your subconscious accepts it. The more it accepts this information as truth the more it helps you attract these types of individuals into your life.
Your subconscious is constantly looking for word pictures to help manifest your most emotionally charged thoughts to become your ever present reality.
Anytime you find yourself about to say something damaging to yourself or others say stop. Stop or cancel it until you stop saying them.
Stop saying all that negative dog pooh about yourself for you find yourself swimming in it and eventually drowning yourself in it.
I know that sounds disgusting but you get the picture all the same.
I'm going to show you in our next post how to use words to change your life for the better.
Until then my friends live life, be well and enjoy every God given moment.
